In the villages of western Uttar Pradesh where the Foundation works, literacy among the communities we serve is far below the national average, and lowest of all among girls. Homes are small and shared, so there is often nowhere quiet to study. There is rarely a library within reach - the nearest one is in a bigger town, which costs money and hours of travel each day, and is effectively out of the question for girls who must be home before dark.
तरक्की फाउंडेशन का लक्ष्य पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के ग्रामीण इलाकों में पुस्तकालय स्थापित करना है ताकि साक्षरता में सुधार हो, खासकर लड़कियों के लिए, सुलभ पठन स्थल उपलब्ध कराकर। वित्तीय चुनौतियों के कारण, यह एक गैर-लाभकारी मॉडल का समर्थन करता है जहाँ उपयोगकर्ता न्यूनतम शुल्क देते हैं, जिससे स्थिरता सुनिश्चित होती है।
Setting up one library costs roughly ₹9–10 lakh, and around 90–100 of them are needed across these districts. The Foundation has arranged ₹30 lakh to support at least 20 libraries, contributing up to ₹1–1.5 lakh per library while the local community raises the rest. That gap is what your donation closes.

Libraries & reading rooms
Building and equipping village libraries with 24×7 electricity, high-speed internet, CCTV monitoring and separate rooms for boys and girls, then keeping the monthly fee low enough for the poorest family in the village.
Scholarships
Tuition fees for students in professional courses - particularly paramedical and nursing - paid directly to the institution. Six scholarships of up to ₹50,000 are awarded each year, with a special focus on girls.
Coaching & guidance
Coaching fees for entrance examinations such as NEET and JEE, reading material online and offline, career-counselling seminars and one-to-one mentoring for students and their parents.

After you have paid
So that your contribution can be acknowledged and a receipt issued, please send us the following on officialtaraqqi@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +91 7838562596:
- The transaction reference or UTR number, with the date and amount
- Your full name and postal address
- Your PAN, if you would like the 80G certificate
- The email ID the receipt should be sent to
- The cause you want it used for, and whether you wish to remain anonymous
Your donation receipt and 80G tax receipt are sent to the email ID you share.
Tax benefit

- All contributions are eligible for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
- Contributions from companies qualify under CSR, for income-tax rebate as per the rules prevailing at the time and amended from time to time.
- Your donation receipt and tax receipt will be sent to the email ID you share with us.

What we do
- Accept payments only online or by cheque, so every rupee is traceable.
- Pay fees directly to the school or institute, never in the hands of the family.
- Select students against the criteria you set, if you are sponsoring someone.
- Keep you in touch with the student you support, and help you follow their progress.
- Name the scholarship as you wish - after you, a parent, a relative or a historical figure.
- Acknowledge your contribution publicly only if you are happy for us to do so.
What we do not do
- Accept a cash contribution from anyone, for any purpose.
- Divulge the identity of a donor who has asked to stay anonymous, unless required by the law of the land.
- Ask you to keep giving - if you are not satisfied with the outcome over a reasonable time, you may stop at any point.
Common questions
आम सवाल
No. To keep every rupee traceable the Foundation accepts bank transfers, UPI and cheques only. Cash contributions are not accepted from anyone, for any purpose.
Yes. Email your transaction reference, full name, postal address and PAN to officialtaraqqi@gmail.com after paying, and a receipt will be issued to you. Donations are covered under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, and under CSR for companies, as per the Income Tax rules prevailing at the time.
Yes. Mention the cause - libraries, scholarships or coaching support - in the transfer remark or in your email, and the amount will be applied to it.
Yes. The Foundation does not disclose the identity of a donor who asks to remain anonymous, unless the law of the land requires it.
Yes. The Foundation’s volunteers will help you find a suitable student, and can keep you in touch with them so that you can follow their progress over time. Fees are paid directly to the school or institute, never handed to the family.
Only transfer from Indian accounts are accepted. Please write to officialtaraqqi@gmail.com, so that the correct process can be confirmed for you.
